RTR projects heads to Most with two KTM X-Bow cars and a fresh lineup

Leading the Fanatec GT2 European Series in the Pro-Am class, Reinhard Kofler teams up again with team owner Tomáš Miniberger in the KTM X-Bow GT2. Meanwhile, Petr Lisa and newcomer Ondřej Rokos will pilot the GTX entry for RTR Projects during the fifth round of the ESET Cup at the Autodrom Most.

“Our goal is clear: continue testing the new GT2 ahead of its full debut in the Fanatec GT2 European Series. We aim to collect valuable data and experiment with new settings. Rain is forecasted for the weekend, which might allow us to test the car’s wet-weather performance,” said Tomáš Miniberger.

Miniberger and Kofler shared the GT2 car at the Slovakia Ring earlier this year, achieving impressive results, including a commanding victory in the GTX class and overall GT standings during the opening sprint. They also earned silver finishes in both the endurance race and the second sprint.

Miniberger recognizes the unique challenges posed by the Autodrom Most:
“Most is a completely different track compared to Slovakia Ring. Its technical nature presents a new challenge.”

The pair will split responsibilities evenly, with each driver participating in one sprint race and teaming up for the endurance event. For Kofler, this will be his first competitive outing at Most, though he has prior testing and single-seater experience at the venue.

“I know the track well from past tests and my days racing formula cars. I’m looking forward to joining Tomáš again and aiming for a strong result,” Kofler said.

Introducing Ondřej Rokos to racing

RTR Projects is also fielding their GTX car for Saturday’s endurance race, with Petr Lisa partnering with rookie Ondřej Rokos, who is making his competitive debut.

“I’ve done track days and tests with the GTX, but this will be my first race. The Most circuit is new to me, as all my testing has been at Slovakia Ring or Brno,” said Rokos, who praised his experienced teammate.
“Petr Lisa is an incredible coach and person. He’s thorough in his guidance, from mindset coaching to simulator work, and reviewing technical data and telemetry. His willingness to help is outstanding.”

Lisa is focused on supporting Rokos during the weekend:
“My main goal is to help Ondřej improve his driving skills throughout the event,” said Lisa, who recently claimed third place in the Pro-Am class at Spa-Francorchamps during the Fanatec GT2 European Series.

Saturday’s sprint race will start in Most at 1:35 p.m., while the endurance race will start at 5:55 p.m. The last weekend performance of the RTR projects team will take place on Sunday from 1:30 p.m., when the second sprint will be on the program.
